Joseph Simonelli
Joseph Simonelli is a lifelong friend of the Martin family and the Chairman of the Board for the Gavin Martin Foundation. A retired Colonel in the United States Army, he brings decades of leadership, service, and integrity to the Foundation. His guidance and experience help set the direction of the Board while honoring Gavin’s legacy through strong leadership, accountability, and a continued commitment to service.

Joel Martin
Joel Martin is Gavin’s father and a dedicated law enforcement professional whose life has been rooted in service, integrity, and commitment to others. As a founding voice of the Gavin Martin Foundation, Joel brings both personal purpose and professional experience to the Board, helping ensure the Foundation honors Gavin’s legacy in a meaningful and lasting way. His guidance is grounded in family, service, and a deep dedication to supporting the mission and those it serves.

As the accountant for the Gavin Martin Foundation, he provides financial guidance and oversight to support responsible planning and long term sustainability.
